The Family
Our story begins at the beginning of the last century when grandfather Stanislao and grandmother Vera decided to put down roots in the Zegla region and start cultivating, right among these hills, our family and our company. Like many farming families of the time, business activities diversified into various sectors: from growing fruits and vegetables to livestock farming, but always with a special focus on viticulture.
The Company
The true transformation of the business began with dad Luciano, nicknamed ``Gianni,``and mother Tanja who increasingly elevated the role of the vine, eventually making its cultivation the primary and sole activity of the family. Fast forward to the present day, and we find Luca, the current owner of the company. After several years gaining external experiences, Luca decides to return home and take care of his own vineyards. With him, a new chapter begins for this family enterprise: the transformation and bottling of his wines.
A NEW BEGINNING
In 2021, with a meticulous selection of vineyards, the first KREN label is born, featuring the release of the Collio Bianco ``KAPPA,`` to which the production of ``FRIULANO`` DOC Collio is added the following year. Luca's idea is to represent and showcase, through his wines, the fantastic territory of his hills, the Collio. He does so by starting with his label, strongly designed with a real graphic representation of the ``ponca,`` the soil in which our vineyards are nestled.
